Results
By the end of the day, the results couldn’t be clearer, and so is my decision: My Substack will remain open and free for all. But being a (former) politician, I made a compromise with... myself. Substack is free, yet every dollar pledged here will go toward peace and justice activities. Though I have not yet succeeded in redeeming the money (since Stripe is not operational in Israel), I will donate the equivalent amount anyway. Good work should not suffer because of that.

I would still be very interested in learning what groups you are supporting, and why. I'd like to be more educated about the landscape of good work being done in the world! It could certainly help these groups' fundraising efforts as well, to receive such an endorsement. And thank you for your work. It is so thoughtful, moving and inspiring and I have been sharing it widely.
